Deyar Embellished Earrings

The earring design is a tribute to the timeless elegance of traditional Damascene courtyards, known as Art Deyar. Found at the heart of old Damascene houses, these courtyards are often adorned with intricate black and white marble flooring, framed by a distinctive straight black border. Reflecting this architectural heritage, the earrings reinterpret the same geometric rhythm in white gold, enriched with a delicate interplay of white and black diamonds.

Inspired by the rattan chairs commonly found in these historic homes, the design incorporates a refined woven texture that wraps gracefully around each earring, creating an elegant interlaced motif that adds movement, depth, and artisanal character.

The inner structure of the earrings is finished with a delicate rose gold cage, inspired by the ornamental metalwork traditionally enclosing the windows overlooking the courtyard. This subtle architectural contrast brings warmth and refinement to the design, transforming a memory of Damascene homes into a contemporary piece of fine jewellery.
